North America’s SuperCorridor Coalition, Inc., is a non-profit organization dedicated to developing the world’s first international, integrated and secure, multi-modal transportation system along the International Mid-Continent Trade and Transportation Corridor to improve both the trade competitiveness and quality of life in North America.  NASCO was founded in 1994 as the I-35 Corridor Coalition and in 1996 incorporated into a non-profit organization and became NASCO. 

NASCO's sponsors are multi-million dollar corporations such as BNSF Railroad, Lockheed Martin, GTO Inland Port, and many others.

NASCO discounts the term; "NAFTA Superhighway". At the NASCO web site it reads; "As of late, there has been much media attention given to the "new, proposed NAFTA Superhighway".  NASCO and the cities, counties, states and provinces along our existing Interstate Highways 35/29/94 (the NASCO Corridor) have been referring to I-35 as the 'NAFTA Superhighway' for many years, as I-35 already carries a substantial amount of international trade with Mexico, the United States and Canada.  There are no plans to build a new NAFTA Superhighway - it exists today as I-35."

NASCO has received $2.25 million in Congressional funding to be administered by the United States Department of Transportation (USDOT) for the development of a technology integration and tracking project. 

The NASCO Conference 2007:  Moving North America Forward will focus on key trade and transportation issues and opportunities for improved cooperation and economic partnership among the three North American countries joined by Interstate 35, along the NASCO Corridor.
